About Shara My name is Shara Parker. I’ve lived in Austin since 1977 and absolutely love it.  I went to school here, raised my son here and plan on growing old here. I enjoy the abundance of outdoor activities in Austin. Some of my favorite things to do include sculling on Town Lake, boating on Lake Travis and enjoying sunset dinners on Lake Austin.  The natural beauty adds to Austin’s eclectic culture.
